About Our Community

Vineyard Park of Surprise is located in the heart of Surprise, just 2 miles off the 303 , walking distance to the Surprise Stadium and Surprise City Center with a library, fishing pond, walking paths, swimming pool and more! We are minutes from The Grand, Sun City West, Sun Village, and Happy Trails Resort as well as Banner Del Webb Hospital. Shopping and restaurants can be found at the nearby Prasada Parkway. We are a beautiful boutique community with 65 assisted living and 11 memory care apartments all on the ground floor… no stairs or elevators! Out of town visitors can conveniently stay right next door at the Hilton Garden Inn and walk to a Spring Training game or other fun event happening at the stadium!

We offer a full spectrum of care from medication management to end of life care. We have 24 hour awake staff providing daily assistance to residents according to their personalized care plans or when they push their button for assistance anytime. Visiting physicians including Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Podiatry and Dentistry come in to provide their services and can order inhouse lab work, x-ray, ultrasound etc. If you still need to go out for a medical appointment, we’ve got you covered and offer transportation services weekly.

Vineyard Park of Surprise offers ground floor apartments some of which have private patios and access into our beautiful courtyards. We have a putting green, fountain, outdoor seating areas and walking paths! Opportunities for outdoor gardening or just a stroll with friends makes it easy to connect! We have a beautiful full-service salon, large living room area for daily exercise class, seasonal parties, games, and entertainment! Multiple indoor activity areas allow for things like weekly bible study, paint and sip, baking demonstrations, grief support groups and so much more. Weekly grocery shopping trips and other outings are a great way to get out and get needed supplies or enjoy a local restaurant! We offer studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments to fit any budget or preference.

What sort of senior apartments are available?

Vineyard Park at Surpsise features private studios and one or two bedroom apartments up to 670 square feet complete with kitchenettes and private baths. floor plans available!

What sort of amenities are available?

Residents have amenities such as, beautiful high-end finishes, emergency call system in each room and throughout the building, sunlit room, library, restaurant-quality dining room, elegant private dining room, activity room, game room, full service beauty/barber shop, Technology center, beautifully landscaped grounds, and nearby shopping.

Do you offer church services and other religious activities at the site?

Yes, there is a weekly church service.

What is your visitor policy?

Vineyard Park of Surprise welcomes and encourages visitors, including children and pets. Visitors should be respectful of resident rights and not interfere with the plan of care. There are no visiting hours. We encourage you to visit your loved one at Vineyard Park anytime. We ask that you be considerate of the resident and their schedule.

Do you offer transportation?

We offer full rider services with our Vineyard Park Bus. Transportation to various events is scheduled regularly, and special rides can be made with an appointment. We travel within a 10 mile radius around our community.

Do you have hair care for residents?

A beauty/barber shop is conveniently located in the community.

How many meals a day are included in the basic fee?

Dining Services offers scrumptious meals three times daily in the dining room. Quality foods and menu selection is important for health and variety. Our dining room is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day for our residents’ convenience.

What medical records and histories do you keep for your residents?

Vineyard Park of Surprise’s nurse keeps a medical history for each of its residents as a supplement to the records of the resident’s physician. These records are private and securely stored, and used in the development of the care plan for residents receiving care services, as a cross reference to care plan changes, and in case of emergencies.

What is assisted care?

Assisted care is designed for active seniors who either need, or feel they will need, help with everyday living. It provides assurance that help will immediately be available in case of emergency, which creates an energetic environment full of friends, good food, and activity.

What if I need personal care?

For residents requiring assistance with their daily living needs, a professional licensed staff is available to provide additional assisted care. Our assisted living program offers an individualized program of additional services including daily light housekeeping and well-being checks as well as personalized assistance with dressing and grooming, continence management, plus escort services to meals and activities.

What levels of care do you provide?

Vineyard Park of Surprise offers care based on a level system.

Is a nurse available 24 hrs. per day?

Our care giving staff is available in the building 24 hours per day. We have a full time LPN that is in the building 7 days a week. We also have a nurse on-call 24 hours per day if an emergency arises.

How close is the nearest hospital?

Del E. Webb Memorial is just three miles and five quick minutes from Vineyard Park of Surprise.

What does rent include?

At Vineyard Park of Surprise, residents receive many services and amenities such as a sunlit living room, guest dining room, computer room, meeting room, game room, weekly housekeeping and linens, “anytime” restaurant style dining, and more.

What are Vineyard Park of Surprise’s rates?

Rental at Vineyard Park of Surprise is month-to-month and initial residency includes an entrance fee. A second resident in a given room is charged a substantially reduced rate, and a separate care plan, if necessary, is assessed and administered.

How do I pay for care?

We are a private pay community and also accept long-term care insurance and we allow a spend down to State Assistance (ask us about this great feature!). Residents and their families also enjoy our Automated Payment Plan, which uses pre-authorized payments to automatically debit their checking accounts for rent and assisted living services. Our business office is more than happy to assist you in gaining a basic understanding of managing the financial affairs of your loved one at Vineyard Park of Surprise.
