Our goal each and every day is to create something special for the residents who have chosen Maplewood Gardens an Assisted and Independent Living Community in Spokane Washington as their home. Whether we are providing personal assistance with dressing, managing a medication program, or serving a home-cooked meal, our commitment is to provide quality service and care.
Here at Maplewood Gardens we encourage and support independence while offering assisted living services personalized to meet individual needs. We offer Independent Living with Medication Management, Assisted Living, Hospice Care and Respite Services. Our belief is that our residents deserve the very best personalized care possible at an affordable rate. We accept both Private Pay and Medicaid for our assisted living services.
At Maplewood Gardens, we get to know our residents, along with their needs, families, stories and interests. We promote privacy in apartment living, companionship with others and continuing close relationships with family and friends. Our staff is passionate about working to ensure a caring and supportive environment so that Maplewood Gardens’ Assisted and Independent Living Community is a place where seniors feel comfortable and secure.

About Our Community
Located in the historic Gonzaga district, adjacent to the Centennial Trail and the Spokane River, Maplewood Gardens has been operated by CarePartners Senior Living since 2018. We have 208 apartments (studios, alcoves, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom). We accept private pay (with no mandated spend down period) and Medicaid at the time of admission.
Care Available
We offer Independent Living and Assisted living. Our 24/7 Certified care staff are here to care for your loved one each and every day. Each Caregiver maintains continuous training to provide a top level of care. We offer a geriatrics nurse practitioner who comes to our community to see residents in their care. Mobile dental, audiologists, mobile labs, X-ray, as well as physical therapy are welcome in our building to see their patients.
Community Amenities
We offer three meals a day, weekly light housekeeping and laundry, scheduled transportation, 24 hr staffing, free wi-fi, raised garden beds, and a full activity schedule.

Maplewood is the largest senior assisted living community in eastern Washington specializing in housing for low income for Medicaid seniors over 65. I visited recently, and besides a friendly staff, they have been beautifying their community with new outdoor seating, new landscaping, indoor seating areas, etc. The new owners are really investing in this building and community. They know this is the resident’s home, and they are making it a pleasant place to live. Maplewood is located by the Centennial Trail and Spokane River.
