The Cottages of Lacey, a memory care community combines the best features of both adult family homes and commercial assisted living communities. Here you will find an intimate environment where residents receive individual attention provided by a professionally managed, highly trained and compassionate staff, available 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
The Cottages of Lacey, a memory care community is ideally located not far from I5 and close to Nisqually to make it easy access for you to come and visit your loved one. An enclosed outdoor area provides opportunity for residents to stroll and exercise. Your family will feel at ease knowing your loved one is at home at The Cottages of Lacey.
About Our Community
The Cottages of Lacey, a Unique Memory Care Community is in Lacey, Washington (Close to Costco). Our Memory Care was designed with a lot of research. We were designed for people living with Dementia. To give them a safe space to wander, be among their peers and participate in activities with others. We want to know their history, who they were prior to their diagnosis of Dementia, their likes, dislikes, and things that provide them comfort. These are things that we will incorporate into their care plan and use for redirection techniques when needed. Care Available
With a full spectrum of care, The Cottages of Lacey meets needs from medication management to end of life care. 24- Hour awake staff completing routine check ins. Multiple providers come to extend on site personalized care for our residents such as, physicians specializing in geriatrics, podiatrists, physical therapists, dental hygienists, and mental health professionals.
Community Amenities
Our Memory Care Community offers three cozy residential cottages, each with only up to twenty residents. This design concept allows us to provide your loved one with the care and personal attention he or she deserves in a familiar, intimate, calm and safe environment. Each cottage is self-contained with its own kitchen area, dining room, laundry, living room area with fireplace. At the Cottages we are known for our beautiful courtyard that stretches the length of the property with lush landscaping and a safe path for walking. Opportunities for gardening, outdoor entertainment, and front porch sitting with a friend. Social events could include a visit from a local pastor, therapy dogs or maybe even Elvis Presley.
