Cottage Lane of Puyallup

Cottage Lane of Puyallup, a Memory Care Community, offers private and shared “comfort space” rooms with a total of 24 in our neighborhood. This design concept allows us to provide your loved one with the personal attention he or she deserves in a familiar, intimate, calm and safe environment. Our neighborhood has its own kitchen, dining room, laundry, living room area with fireplace and private resident rooms.

Our Senior Care activity program is a key component of our gentle care philosophy of emphasizing each resident’s strengths and abilities. We create a personalized activity program designed to provide each resident with a sense of purpose and achievement.

When additional medical services are needed, we work closely with other healthcare providers to meet the needs of our residents within the comfort and familiarity of his or her own bedroom.

If you personally take care of a loved one with Alzheimer’s at home, you know the stress and demands it places on you and your family. If you are ready for a break to renew yourself, call and ask about our short-term Respite Care program.

We encourage families to become involved in the care we provide by visiting often and meeting with staff to discuss their loved one’s personal history, preferences, and special needs.
Family members also often need information and support to understand and cope with the progressive nature of memory disorders. Our trained staff will be there with you on this journey providing advice, consultation and most importantly emotional support. We will also be available to recommend additional educational resources and external support groups if requested.

Testimonials

Here is what Karl has to say about Vineyard Park:

Last year it became necessary to find an assisted living place for my aunt. I was delighted to discover Vineyard Park. She has moved in and loves her apartment! The staff are terrific. They take very good care aunt, and her fellow residents are fun and lively. The dining room is nice and “Movie night” is a joy. I cannot say enough great things about Vineyard Park.

Here is what I have to say:

I remember visiting my grandparents in nursing homes when they were no longer able to care for themselves. It was very depressing, so when my aunt needed more care I was amazed by how nice it could be.

Vineyard Park is able to provide services such as help with bathing and dressing that allow my aunt to enjoy her own sunny apartment and be surrounded by a very positive community. The lobby feels like a nice hotel where residents are sitting and visiting, reading the paper or enjoying a sponsored event. There are concerts, exercise classes, nightly movies, field trips, and of course bingo. For the first time I am not scared to think about how my own life might look if I need more care as I get older. I can now imagine a caring, positive environment where people get the help they need, while still being very engaged with life.

Thanks Vineyard Park!
