Charlton Place is ideally located near I-5 and HW 512 and is conveniently close to shopping, restaurants and medical care. We offer the perfect combination of services and amenities that blend the care seniors need with the convenience they value and the independence they cherish.

Residents and their families especially enjoy the tranquility and privacy of our large backyard that overlooks Charlton Lake.

Activities are an integral part of life at Charlton Place. Residents enjoy an array of socials, classes, and special interest groups to rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit. Other amenities include weekly housekeeping and linen service, scheduled transportation to activities and appointments, and general maintenance and repairs to apartments. Three delicious chef-prepared meals are served every day in our gracious dining room. These are just some of the features offered at Charlton Place.

Daily care is provided by a team of dedicated caregivers who offer all the personalized care and support residents need. Additionally, we have a team of licensed nurses on staff to provide both oversight consultation and nursing services. Each resident is provided with a customized Service Care Plan and are only charged for the services they need and utilize.

What sort of apartments are available?

Charlton Place offers 96 private studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom suites with kitchenettes and private bathrooms.

Yes there are regularly scheduled services on site.

Charlton Place welcomes and encourages visitors including children and pets. Visitors should be respectful of resident rights and not interfere with the plan of care.

Yes we have a beauty/barbershop on site.

We provided three nutritious meals daily in our dining room and snacks between meals as requested.

The nursing department at Charlton Place maintains private and confidential medical records for each resident that includes medical history, physician orders, our care assessments and care plans. These records are kept secure and confidential at all times.

Yes, these services are provided by a team of licensed nurses supervised by our RN.

We have nursing staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a licensed nurse 40 hours per week and on call in case of emergency.

The rental of the apartment, all utilities except phone and cable, 3 meals per day, housekeeping and laundry service, transportation, and activity programs.

Our activity director has designed a program to fit a diversity of interests. We also ask for social assessment for your loved one to help us design a program that help them get actively involved in their new home.

We have a van onsite to transfer residents to doctors’ appointments if alternative transportation is not available.

Residents are allowed to come and go from the facility as long as their physician has said it is safe for them to leave.

Because we have a contract with the Medicaid program and we do not limit the number of Medicaid eligible residents in our facility, the administrative staff will direct you to the appropriate persons at DSHS, HCS to complete the necessary paperwork and mom will stay where she is.
